Voted as BlogTO’s best cupcakes in all of Toronto, these miniature treats definitely live up to their marvelous reputation. Her quiches, vegetable soups and chilies have also garnered positive reviews from her countless loyal customers. Cora’s Kitchen also does wholesale, supplying local retail cafes with their wonderful food.
Cora’s career didn’t begin in a kitchen, as she started off as a graphic designer in advertising. She then decided to pursue cooking by starting off volunteering at a restaurant and then taking the catering program at George Brown College. She originally began baking and focused mainly on catering, but she was faced with a pleasant surprise when Cora’s Kitchen’s retail took off. The rest, as they say, is history as she’s now a key staple in the Kensington community. Like many around the city, we’re quite glad that she made this career changing decision; otherwise we would never have had the chance to taste her delightful cooking.
