Since 2005, Ziggy’s At Home has been a fixture in the Little Italy neighbourhood, selling vibrant, lively home décor items and furniture. Friendly and affable owner Julie has brought in items from around the world that she would want to see in her own home. Items include colourful French soaps, comfy bean bag chairs, and sophisticated decanters. Although they’ve only been around for 4 years, they are by no means strangers to the community. The exact store space in which Ziggy’s currently resides currently has been known as Fass Leather Goods for over 50 years. Fass Leather Goods was owned and run by Julie’s grandfather Zelig, better known to his many loyal customers and friends as “Ziggy” (hence the current name of the store). After his passing, owner Julie decided to open the store that’s here today and named it in memory of her loving grandfather.
After seeing their wide selection of beautiful, energetic products and hearing the warm recollections of Ziggy ingrained in the tightly knit community, it’s safe to say that the name Ziggy’s At Home plays a familiar tune to the ears of many in the neighbourhood. We are sure it will remain that way for years to come.
